Marin Tennis Service Return Part 2
Marin Tennis Serve part 2
The second thing you need to know when returning serve is what to look at. A good tennis player must watch the opponents toss. More specifically, watch the ball as it is tossed up into the air. You will then see the ball as soon as possible after she has struck it. You may not see the tennis ball at once, but you will see it sooner since you are looking where it should be. As soon as you read the flight of the ball, take your racquet back as quickly as you can.
The third thing is what swing to use. I do not advise my pupils to use the looping swing to return serve.Another key in being an effective tennis player is to take the raquet back as quickly as you can. The faster the serve is the shorter the take-back of the tennis racquet. The reason for the short back swing is the serve is providing the power when it is fast. You are providing the power when it is slow. After you take back your tennis racquet don’t have a huge follow through. Keep the racquet swing short and simple. Make sure that you have nice control over your tennis racquet.

Extreme tennis shot
After your warmup and stretch, grab a racket and a ball. Then take a couple strokes to get the handle of the game. After you are all loose and ready to play you can make some power moves and hits. As the game goes on and on, you and your teamate should take turns on who will make that extra effort to get a point. As this man in the video has done, you can dive for the ball to put the ball back into play instead of being beat by another point.
The Marin Tennis Service Return
The Marin Tennis Service Return
First you must know where to stand. If the tennis server is right-handed and is standing near the center mark stand with your foot just inside the right singles line just behind the baseline. If the server stands farther to the right, you should stand farther to the right. When the server serves to the ad court and stands four feet from the center mark, stand with your left foot just inside the left singles line just behind the baseline. If the server stands to her right or left of this position, you should stand more to the right or left of the above position.
If the server is left-handed and stands four feet to her right of the center mark when serving to the deuce court, stand with your right foot just inside the right singles line just behind the baseline. If she stands to the left or right of this position, you should move to your left or right. If the left-handed server stands close to the center mark when serving to the ad court, stand with your left foot just next to the left singles line just behind the baseline. If she stands to the left or right of this position, you should stand more to the left or right accordingly.
Stand farther back for a powerful serve, closer in for a weak or spin serve. If the serve is consistently coming to one side, move closer to that side. If the server can hit either corner, move in closer. If she then serves right at you, back up. On the next serve, move in as she tosses the ball. Try mixing up moving in during the toss and staying back.
